Welcome to Year 6
Welcome to Year Six at Thomas Willingale School! We currently have two classes in Year Six; Poplar Class led by Mrs Holland and Rowan Class led by Miss Dennis. Mrs Collins will also be teaching in the Year 6 team.
This year, we will be covering a range of subjects from across the curriculum in a fun and interactive way. Some of our learning will be accessed through our half termly themes.
Year Six is the final year of Key Stage Two. Pupils study the curriculum areas for Year Six, as well as revising key topics in Maths, English and Science (that they have explored in previous years). This prepares them for the SATS examinations in May of each year.
The final year of KS2 is a very busy time with a range of activities.
After SATs we have our residential trip to look forward to.
