I joined the Governing Body in July 2023 as a Partnerships Governor. With a career in the education and charity sector, I was keen to exercise my skills and passion in a meaningful way. Living in Loughton, I'm proud to support Thomas Willingale, helping the school meet its strategic aims and provide a quality education for all its students.
I used to be an English teacher in a secondary school in Bradford, before moving into a Fundraising role at the charity Teach First. I'm now the Programme Manager at the DHL UK Foundation, a corporate foundation focused on the education and employability of young people from more disadvantaged backgrounds.
I'm a firm believer that school should be an enjoyable, safe place where children can thrive, and it's our role as a Governing Body, to help make that happen.
