I joined Thomas Willingale School and Nursery in 2002 as an LSA. Before long, I was asked to teach in Year 6 alongside the Headteacher at that time. Since then, I have taught in all the year groups and classes in KS2 and have been the RE co-ordinator, maths co-ordinator and phase leader of both UKS2 and LKS2. I am currently taking over from Mrs Ford Richards, as the Inclusion Manager while she is on maternity leave. I also support the Early Careers Teachers in the school and am the LKS2 Phase Leader.
I am looking forward to being a Staff Representative on the Governing Body and being able to communicate between our School Staff and the Governors who support us. My new role in school will also enable me to regularly report important updates on Special Educational Needs and Pupil Premium to the Governors.
