It is statutory for children in KS2 to study a modern foreign language. At Thomas Willingale School and Nursery a specialist French teacher teaches the children from Years 1 to Year 6.
In Years 1 and 2 the children are introduced to basic vocabulary using lots of games, songs and role play.
