Alan Weinberg
Alan joined Beal Governors in 1982. He was Chairman from 1984 for approximately 30 years.
He supported the suggestion of Beal Partnership joining with Hainault Forest High School, which then became The Trust, incorporating Beal and Forest Academy.
He is now a Member and Life Patron of Beacon Multi Academy Trust.
Alan joined Redbridge Council in 1982 where he was Leader, and Chaired several major committees. Alan was also Mayor of the Borough. He retired from the Council in 2018 after 36 years of representing Clayhall Ward.
During his time on the Council Alan was awarded the Freedom of the City of London; Governor of King Solomon High School for 8 years, Founder Governor of Atam Academy and was honoured with the MBE for Services to Education.
He is currently Vice Chair Ilford County High School; Vice Chair British Tamil Conservative a member of the Advisory Committee of Redbridge Community Centre; Director of Hainault Business Park; and Boleyn Court Management. Alan was elected as a Councillor for Buckhurst Hill Parish Council this year and also became a Governor of Thomas Willingale School.
