  • Emergency First Aid Ltd donate a Defibrillator to TWS

    Wed 13 Apr 2016

Emergency First Aid Ltd are taking on the huge task of raising money to put a Defibrillator in all the schools they provide training for and to give full training for the use of the defibrillator to the recipient schools.

Their staff, shareholders and family will be taking on various challenges in the next few years to achieve this. Challenges include a 100 km run, a gruelling hike up Pen Y Fan and a Triathlon!

Sadly 270 children die in the UK per year after suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at school

If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74% which is incredible.

A Full Defibrillator Package costs roughly £1000 so they have a massive challenge.

The first school to receive a free defibrillator is Thomas Willingale School. Emergency First Aid have already trained all of our staff and Year 6. They credit us with being an amazing school who really believe in First Aid for all.

Please share and support this project. Any donations or fund raising ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.
